2018 Paper Mart Customer Appreciation Day Highlights!

It finally happened! Our first ever, Paper Mart Customer Appreciation Day! We were so excited to open our space and party with all the crafty customers and local business owners who have loved our products throughout the years. There were raffles, exclusive items on sale, amazing crafts on display, and family-friendly fun. Let’s relive the occasion!

The Customer Appreciation Day Festivities

For our customers, we never want to hold back. At 8:00 AM on the dot, we let that line loose and the extravaganza began! We pulled out all the stops and were so happy to see that everyone enjoyed the fun photo spots, gallery space for our Craft Challenge entries, and of course the incredible collection of $1 items!

The Raffle & Exclusive Bargains

Throughout the day, we raffled off expertly curated country, crafters, and summer gift baskets, perfect for our DIY-savvy customers.

The Craft Challenge

On display in our Will Call Center were our Paper Mart Craft Challenge entries! We challenged crafters, creators, and makers located in the Greater LA / Orange County area to make beautiful creations with a hodgepodge of unique craft supplies. The results were stunning. Winners included entry #10, @suchacreation winning the overall Craft Challenge with a total of 189 instagram likes. As well as entry #82, Haley for earning Best Use of Product and entry #37, @soytroyboy for earning Most Creative.

Colorful Troll Headbands

We couldn’t get enough of these troll headbands. They were quick, simple, and super cute. Perfect for the upcoming Halloween season.

What You’ll Need:

How to make: Starting with your first piece of tulle, tie tulle around headband securely. Repeat with each piece of tulle. Finish by cinching tulle ends with a ribbon embellishment.

 

Colorful Washi Tape Pencils

Just in time for going back to school, we customized pencils with washi tape.

What You’ll Need:

How to make: Choose your favorite washi tape pattern (We love chevron!) and apply it to your pencil. To truly customize your pencil, finish with a colorful feather embellishment.

 

Custom Patterned Bookmarks

Great for gifting, we used solid washi tape to transform ordinary shipping tags into works of art.

What You’ll Need:

How to make: Choose three (or more!) of your favorite washi tape colors and patterns (These Patterned Washi Tape Sets are perfect for mixing and matching!). Apply to shipping tags.
