DIY Tassel Bookmarks

After the hustle and bustle of the holidays its nice to carve out time for yourself to relax. There’s nothing better than cozying up with a great bookย or unwinding with a fun craft on a chilly night. That’s why were bringing you an adorable DIY tassel bookmark tutorial. The project only requires a few simple materials and can be done in as little as twenty minutes. These little bookmarks are a perfect craft for your kids or party favors for your book club friends!

You will start by cutting and applying patterned or colored Washi Tape onto a Manila Shopping Tag. The strips can be placed horizontally or vertically. Next, you will use a hole punch to create a hole at one end of the bookmark. Finally, you will loop a tassel of your choice through the hole and secure it to the tag. Voila you’re all done!

    What a great craft do to as a party activity – for example members of a book discussion group could do it while discussing the book, and that would slow down the wine and cheese consumption for those of us watching our calorie intake!
