‘Tis the season of joy and anticipation! Embrace the festive spirit by creating your own DIY Christmas Tree Advent Calendar with the help of our step-by-step guide. This project combines creativity, craftiness, and a touch of sweetness to make the countdown to Christmas extra special. Let’s get started!

What You’ll Need:

How to DIY a Christmas Tree Advent Calendar

Prepare the Base

Cut the foam core board into the shape of a Christmas tree. For more accuracy, you can use a precision knife.

Then, glue a piece of Kraft Corrugated Sheet to form the trunk of your tree.

Create Your Tree

Cover the tree with a large piece of green Crepe Paper, and cut it out to fit the shape. Make sure to trim off any excess paper.

Afterward, use your coffee cups to trace and mark the spots where each cup will be glued.

Make Your Punchboard

Cut 13 coffee cups in half using a precision knife. Using Christmas tissue paper, cut out circles corresponding to the tops of the halved coffee cups. Label each tissue paper circle with numbers 1 through 25. You can use circle sticker paper or write them by hand.

Next, glue the halved coffee cups onto the tree. From here, you can fill each cup with treats or small gifts. Then, glue the numbered tissue paper circles onto the cups.

Final Festive Touches!

Finish off your advent calendar by attaching a festive bow to the top of the tree. For extra flair, you can add some ribbon or embellishments to the tree.

Your DIY Christmas Tree Advent Calendar is now ready to spread holiday cheer! Each day brings the joy of discovering a new treat, building excitement as you approach the festive day. Share this delightful creation with family and friends, and let the countdown to Christmas be filled with creativity, sweetness, and the warmth of handmade joy. Happy crafting!
