For your next birthday party, anniversary or brunch, throw a sophisticated soiree that brings French elegance to your home. All you need are a few bold patterns, a touch of lace, and a little know-how for your celebration to be très magnifique.
Save The Date For Your Parisian Party With Bold And Beautiful Invitations
First, we’ll start with a simple and sweet invitation. Nothing says “You’re Invited!” than custom stationary. Get inspired by the bold flourishes of French art style and personalize your invites with patterned washi tape. Washi tape is an inexpensive and stylish way to set the tone of your party immediately. Here, we use our Black Striped and Macarons Washi Tape to safely seal our invitations.
Decorate With Dainty Details
Then, we create a romantic tablescape and dessert table with delicate lace and floral details. With a tablescape, we like to keep the extravagance to a minimum and allow room for tasty food and drink. Choose a neutral, solid-colored table cover and incorporate your theme by customizing functional details like table settings.
Here, we channel the simple elegance and romance of a French patisserie with dainty doily place settings. To finish the look, we created table cards using our Small Floral Picture Washi Tape to line the bottom edge of blank cards.
Say, “Merci!” With Classic Patterns And Textures
Next, we capture Parisian style within our party favors by using simple yet bold patterns with a twist. Parisian style is all about creating new classics by incorporating vintage style with newer, more modern updates. For our favors, we’ve updated the classic striped pillow box with an elegant bow accent using narrow floral, satin, and lace ribbons. We also added a pop of color to the interior by nestling our favorite candies within bright pink crinkle cut paper shred.
Et voilà! With just a few wisely chosen details and simple, bold pattern choices, your Paris-inspired party is complete. Now go have fun, and don’t forget to show us your photos #mypapermart.
