How To Make Your Paper Wreath
Step 1: Prep Your Foam Base
The first thing you want to do when creating a wreath is to prep your base. Using a wood stick and your foam wreath form, firmly insert your wooden stick approximately 1/2” into the foam and create a depression. Repeat until your form is fully covered in small 1/2” holes.
Note: To make sure our wreath will be completely covered, we kept the spacing between each hole minimal.
Step 2: Prep Your Paper
Next, it’s time to trim your colorful paper panels. Using your scissors, cut 15-20 pieces of red tissue paper (approximately 5” x 7”). Repeat with each color of tissue paper. For our wreath, we cut out 450 tissue paper pieces.
After your tissue paper has been cut, take one of your pieces and from the center, gather the tissue paper into a tapered point. Twist to maintain the shape. Repeat with each tissue paper piece.

Step 3: Add Your Color
Once each of your tissue paper pieces have been prepped, take your hot glue and add a small dot into one of the holes in your wreath. Add another small dot of glue onto the tapered end of your tissue paper. Insert your tissue paper into the hole. Repeat until your wreath form is fully covered.

Note: To help maintain each colorful panel of your rainbow, start with a single color and gradually blend it out to the next color.
