[Video] Sparkling Letter DIY Garland

Tis the season to celebrate! After you’ve organized the food prep, entertainment, and guest list, the fun can truly begin with the decorations. We’re talking gold themed tableware, pretty party backdrops, and of course sparkly DIY garlands that spell out our favorite party saying. Cheers!

This decorative piece is sure to impress and dazzle your guests. It’s also the perfect accent to your buffet table or punchbowl. Let us show you how in this DIY video instruction!

Here’s What You’ll Need To Create This Sparkly Garland

How To Create The Perfect Party Decoration

Step 1: Create Your Templates.

First, print out the message that you would like to hang as a garland. Feel free to use our template! Tape this to your corrugated cardboard sheets.

Step 2: Cut The Letters.

Next, cut out your letters using a sharp razor blade.

Step 3: Attach The Sequins.

Finally, attach your sparkles using hot glue and sequin trim. An easy trick to get a nice, clean edge is to overlap some sequin material and fold over your edge.

Step 4: Repeat For All The Letters.

Step 5: Attach The Cord.

At the backside of the letters, hot glue a piece of metallic cord so they are all attached.

Step 6: Hang Your Garland.

Leave plenty of cord at each end to hang your DIY garland. Let the party begin!

I love that you have started giving ideas on organization to making things. I would like to see videos using deco mesh (wreaths, centerpieces, and any new ideas to learn).
I wish you carried signs and some other things for wreath and centerpiece making. You already sell a good amount of materials to do so, but it would be a nice to have one shop.

Hi Sandra! Thanks so much! We love sharing the ways we organize and get creative. Deco mesh is one of our favorite materials to work with and we’ve created a few wreaths and centerpieces. Check them out here! In terms of adding new items, we love the suggestions. Keep them coming!
