A Little About Janis Nunez
Tell us a little bit about yourself and your business! How did you get inspired to start?
I started making decorated cookies for my kids’ school parties and functions. People started asking where they could buy them, so I had to hurry and figure out how to price them so that I could sell my cookies. From word of mouth, I continued to get orders, and now over 15 years later I’m still selling decorated cookies along with a variety of other treats.
Do you have any favorite creations that you want to share with us?
I like to incorporate other treats with the theme. Many people purchase cookies along with cake pops or cupcakes for their events. I’ve also made cotton candy cakes and a number of other treats. I love to be creative and share that with others.

As you know, we’re celebrating 100+ years as a family-owned business, and we couldn’t have done it without your support throughout the years. What are your thoughts on the importance of shopping family-owned and local?
Family owned and operated businesses are my favorite way to shop!
How did you hear about Paper Mart, how long have you been a customer with us, and what keeps you coming back?
I’ve been using Papermart for many years. The flat clear bags keep my heat-sealed items fresh and look very professional. I’ve also used the kraft bags with handles, clear boxes, bows, clear tubes and stand-up zipper pouches. Everything is at a very high standard.
What are your favorite Paper Mart products and why do you love them?
I love the flat clear cello bags. They come in a large quantity and keep my treats looking and tasting amazing.
