What do you do at Paper Mart? I’m the Marketing Designer.
How long have you worked here? Just over 3 years.
Tell us what a typical day at work for you entails. Well, it starts with an extra large cup of coffee. Then I go through my to-do list and prioritize what email graphics need to be finished first. It mostly includes lots of Photoshopping and sometimes I’ll shoot photos or DIY videos. I have a mini photo “studio” set up behind my desk where I utilize window light.
What do you like best about working at Paper Mart? My favorite part about work is the people I work with. My office mates are really fun and easy going.
Before Paper Mart, what was the most unusual/interesting job you had? I was a baker. I miss eating warm cupcakes straight from the oven every day but I definitely don’t miss waking up at 4am.
Apart from your work at Paper Mart, what are some side projects or hobbies you have outside of the office/warehouse? I run an Etsy shop where I sell greeting cards/stationary/tote bags etc. I also really enjoy cooking and still bake once in a while. Mostly just birthday cakes for friends and family.
If you had to eat one type of food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Definitely Mexican food. More specifically chiles rellenos.
Would you rather go back in time or in the future? Why? Back in time for sure. I want to see what the 60s/70s were like.
Describe what you were like at age 10. Most of the time I was outside playing baseball with the other kids in the neighborhood or riding my bike around. Also, we lived on a somewhat busy street so I took advantage of that and was always selling something in my front yard… lemonade, fruit, tickets to see the “world’s smallest dog” (it was my guinea pig).
What is the first concert you attended? Wango Tango which is slightly embarrassing but No Doubt was there and I still love Gwen Stefani so I’m ok with it.
What’s your all-time favorite TV show? I Love Lucy and I also really love Bob’s Burgers.
