Karla has been a part of the Paper Mart family for 14 years. She has been doing an amazing job as our Senior Buyer and was awarded our Office Employee of the Quarter Award for Q3. How long have you worked here? 14 Years.
Tell us what a typical day at work for you entails. I manage inventory levels, negotiate pricing and minimums, assist our sales department with any item inquiries such as lead times, quantity inquiries etc..
Before Paper Mart, what was the most unusual/interesting job you had? I’ve only had 1 job before Paper Mart.
Apart from your work at Paper Mart, what are some side projects or hobbies you have outside of the office/warehouse? Travel. I also love sports! Baseball, football, and hockey!
If you had to eat one type of food for the rest of your life, what would it be? I love all types of food! But I think I could eat rice and beans every day.
Would you rather go back in time or in the future? Why? Future!
Describe what you were like at age 10. Tomboy-like! I played sports with all the boys.
What is the first concert you attended? Millie Vanilli, a German R&B group.
What’s your all-time favorite TV show? That 70’s Show.
