The Orange County Business Journal featured Paper Mart in the August 29th weekly issue as the lead cover story. The Journal toured the facilities and met with our President, Buffy Simoni, and Marketing Director, Allison McGuire. The publication was impressed with Paper Mart’s 95-year history and humble beginnings in a small building behind Buffy’s great-grandparents’ home in Los Angeles County. The company has grown to employ 250 people and stock 26,000 items!
Another key point is how progressive Paper Mart has been in evolving with the times and adapting to the digital space. The company has been online since 1995 and was among one of the first companies to sell directly to customers when it placed photos of products online. From commercial wholesalers to niche retailers, Paper Mart’s success can also be attributed to serving a wide range of loyal customers.
Buffy joined the family business in 2014 and mentioned how she enjoys the “intellectual challenge” of adapting the business, walking the warehouse floor and working alongside everyone during the holidays.
