Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Ariella Wolkowicz, the owner and bagel maker extraordinaire from Toasted Napa, a bagel shop based in beautiful Napa, California. A Little Bit About Toasted Napa
Tell us a little bit about yourself and your business. How did you get inspired to start?
TN: Toasted was started to fill the bagel void in Napa, CA, producing hand-rolled, boiled artisan bagels in a variety of flavors. We try to keep things as local and seasonal as possible but like to inject some fun flavors every so often (chocolate bagels for Valentines Day, gingerbread for Christmas, etc.).
Do you have any favorite bagel flavors or combos you’ve made?
TN: We did a dill bagel with preserved lemon and dill schmear and honestly, that’s been a huge hit!

What are your thoughts on the importance of shopping family owned and local?
TN: I think it’s so important- buying local is one of the best ways to vote with your dollar while supporting actual people that actually need the money. When I first started looking for packaging, I could have bought from other online shops BUT I found out about Paper Mart and was instantly hooked.
Also, customer service has been incredibly helpful and I am now going on 5+ years of being a Paper Mart customer!
What are your favorite Paper Mart products and why do you love them?
TN: The small sandwich bags have been KEY for my business- all bagels with cream cheese get put in one of these!
