Leticia has been a part of the Paper Mart family for 16 1/2 years. She has been doing an amazing job in our Accounting Department and was awarded our Office Employee of the Quarter Award for Q3. What do you do at Paper Mart? Accounting Department (Accounts Payable).
How long have you worked here? 16 1/2 years.
Tell us what a typical day at work for you entails. I enter invoices into our systems to be paid, do check runs, bank statements, etc.
What do you like best about working at Paper Mart? My workload is a lot, but it’s easy. My coworkers are nice and easy to get along with.
Before Paper Mart, what was the most unusual/interesting job you had? I wouldn’t call it unusual or interesting, but I helped adult students with their work. I also managed the paperwork for 2 Chevron stations.
Apart from your work at Paper Mart, what are some side projects or hobbies you have outside of the office/warehouse? I don’t have hobbies, but I do like going out to different places.
If you had to eat one type of food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Mexican Food. Pozole!
Would you rather go back in time or in the future? Why? I think I would like going into the future to see if my hard work, efforts, and sacrifices were worth it.
Describe what you were like at age 10. I was a tomboy. I played baseball, kickball, and climbed trees with the kids in my neighborhood.
What is the first concert you attended? Wango Tango – I wanted to see Ricky Martin.
What’s your all-time favorite TV show? The Big Bang Theory.
