This is why we’ve upgraded our standard High Five Awards to include a cash donation to a community-focused, nonprofit organization of our team member’s choice. This quarter, we’re happy to announce our donations to Options of La Puente and Bracken’s Kitchen.
As our team members continue to go above and beyond within their day-to-day activities, we’re happy to support the organizations and communities of their choice. For information regarding where our donations are going, read on!
Options of La Puente
On behalf of Paper Mart team member, Becky Hernandez, we’ve made a charitable donation to the women’s center, Options of La Puente. Becky’s donation will go towards providing in-person support and resources for women facing unplanned pregnancies.
This support includes –

- Adoption Referrals
Bracken’s Kitchen
On behalf of Paper Mart team member, Gabby Dengler, we’ve made a charitable donation to Bracken’s Kitchen. Since 2013, Bracken’s Kitchen has provided hot and nutritious meals to those in Orange County struggling with hunger.
The programs we’re helping support include –
- Culinary Training | Through hands-on participation in a live kitchen environment, Bracken’s Kitchen equips students with the basic culinary skills necessary to excel in the hospitality industry.
- Recovered Food | Bracken’s Kitchen works directly with local food suppliers, vendors, farmers, and restaurant operators to move excess product and transform it into healthy, high-quality meals to those in need (part of their 2020 goals is to recover at 270 tons of edible food!).
- Food Truck | Known for serving approximately 100 individuals at a time, Betsy the food truck has grown to be a staple throughout Orange County. Within 2019 alone, the Bracken’s Kitchen food truck program has helped serve over 450,000 meals to those in need.
