Background On The Pick Mod Re-Zoning Project
We pride ourselves in being able to provide an exceptional shipping experience and are continually working to maintain this standard. If you’ve ever run your own business or worked in a retail space, you’ll know that speed, time, and efficiency are top priority during the holiday seasons.
This season, the Pick Mod Re-Zoning Project streamlined our overall process to ensure that any order placed with us is picked, processed, and shipped out as soon as possible. We’ll let Henry tell you more –

Team Members: Henry Palma, Juan Cornejo, Tom Juarez, Hunter Felde, Anthony Munoz, Amber Toro, and Jasmine Rodriguez
Congrats on your achievement! Tell us a little about your team project and how you worked together. Our project was to make our picking process as efficient as possible. Each of us brought different experiences to the team – from configuring the software we use to identifying our best selling items and physically moving them to more efficient places in our warehouse.
What were the best parts of working together? The best part about working together was learning from one another and each other’s experience with the Pick Mod.

Apart from your day-to-day jobs at Paper Mart, do you or your team members have any side projects or hobbies you’d like to share with us? Oh, we’ve got a great group of people!
Tom is a singer/songwriter/music producer and retired actor who still (on occasion) trods the boards. He’s also a fan of video games (currently playing: The Elder Scrolls Online). Hunter is a dancer and goes to Jack in the Box with Anthony as a daily lunch activity. Amber loves watching new movies and shows. Jasmine enjoys reading and hanging out with her friends and family. I enjoy off-roading and going to Disneyland.
What is the team’s favorite foods? Jasmine’s favorite food is Hawaiian, especially Spam Musubi. Amber and Hunter love pizza and tacos. Tom’s favorite food is Thai yellow curry. However, anybody who knows Tom always knows that he’s a Friday, dry martini aficionado.
My favorite is Puerto Rican food and my grandma’s home cooking.
Do you or your team members have a favorite Paper Mart product? Why do you love it! Tom loves our colored and patterned boxes modeled after the Chinese take-out boxes because they make gift wrapping so easy. Jasmine, Amber, and Hunter love ribbons because there’s so much that you could do with them – especially the holiday ribbons for Christmas.
